KARACHI: Pakistan International Airlines’ (PIA) four protesting workers, who went missing last week, surfaced on Monday.
According to our correspondent, the PIA employees, a leader of Joint Action Committee among them, were released by unknown persons late night at Nagin Chowrangi.

JAC presents masked man before media




KARACHI: The Joint Action Committee of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), which is spearheading a protest against privatization of the airlines, presented before the media a masked man, who was shown in a video released by the law enforcing agencies this week.
This masked man was thought to be a suspect following a shooting incident earlier this week in which two PIA employees were killed.

KARACHI: Lyari’s main gang lord Uzair Jan Baloch said he had been working for the intelligence of a neighboring country, Iran that utilized him to bring about a deterioration in Balochistan.


SAMAA received the report of interrogations with Lyari’s gang-man.

According to the report, Baloch said he traveled to Dubai with Iranian passport, adding, “PPP leadership contacted me while I was in Dubai.”

Two die as PIA workers clash with police

Two die as PIA workers clash

KARACHI: Two protesting workers of Pakistan International Airline (PIA) lost their lives and at least 18 others were injured during a clash with Rangers and police at Jinnah International Airport in Karachi, Samaa reported.

Water canon was used to disperse the employees who are protesting against proposed privatization of PIA.


Reports said Rangers resorted to baton charge and fired teargas shells after stone-pelting by infuriated workers, leaving dozens of them injured.
