ISLAMABAD, Feb 9 (APP): Senate will hold its next session on Wednesday on the requisition of opposition and would discuss issues of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) and cut in prices of petroleum products in the wake of lower prices in international market.
Chairman Senate Mian Raza Rabbani had summoned the session in exercise of the powers conferred by clause (3) of Article 54, read with Article 61 of the Constitution.

Pakistan Army offers help to rescue Indian soldiers in Siachen
RAWALPINDI: Pakistan on Thursday offered help for rescue of 10 Indian soldiers buried under an avalanche at Siachen Glacier in the remote Himalayas.
According to a brief statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director General Military Operations (DGMO) called his Indian counterpart to offer help to rescue soldiers who came under snow Avalanche in Northern Areas.
The soldiers were on duty at an army post on a glacier at an altitude of 5,900 metres (19,600 feet) when it was hit by a massive avalanche early Wednesday.
However, on Thursday, the Indian army said there was little chance of finding alive any of the 10 soldiers buried in an avalanche at Siachen Glacier in the remote Himalayas, as the rescue effort continued.

ISLAMABAD: Advisor to Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs and National Security Sartaj Aziz Wednesday strongly condemned the confessional statement of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi for committing terrorism against Pakistan in early seventies.
In a Policy Statement in Senate, he urged the International Community and the United Nations (UN) to take notice of the statement of Indian Prime Minister.
He said the statement of Indian PM was an open admission at the highest level to support terrorism in a neighboring country and UN should take notice of it as the Indians have also violated international laws.
