NA 122 election mania touches peak

NA 122 election mania touches peak

Over 500 election offices have been set up by Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) and Pakistan Tehreek Insaaf (PTI) supporters for October 11 by-elections in NA 122, about five times more than the camps established for the 2013 general elections.

The campaign of by-elections of NA 122 is coinciding with the run-up activity for local bodies polls, scheduled after a gap of 20 days. There are 28 union councils in NA 122, therefore, the candidates of local bodies polls are also actively campaigning for NA 122 to test their strength. Political activists are expecting a good turn- out in by polls in NA 122 as all contesting candidates of local bodies have been given the task of bringing their voters out on October 11 too with a primary objective of testing their strength ahead of the local government elections.
